About American Dollars Exchange
The United States Dollar (USD) is the official currency of the United States and one of the most widely traded currencies in the world. We accept all denominations of US Dollar banknotes and coins, including older series and damaged notes.
Current US Dollar Banknotes
The current series of US banknotes (2013 onwards) features enhanced security features including 3D security ribbons, color-shifting ink, and watermarks. We accept all denominations: $1, $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills.
Old Series & Damaged Notes
Unlike most high street exchanges, we also accept older series US Dollar notes (pre-2013) and damaged banknotes. For damaged notes, at least 50% of the note must be intact for us to accept it. The exchange rate for older and damaged notes may be slightly lower.
US Dollar Coins
We accept all US Dollar coins including Quarters (25¢), Dimes (10¢), Nickels (5¢), and Pennies (1¢). We also accept commemorative coins and state quarters. The exchange rate for coins is typically lower than banknotes due to handling costs.
